How to install Secure Shell Client

    WINDOWS 2000, XP

Download and install SSH Secure Shell for Windows

SSH Communications Window Client (Version 3.2.9)


A new icon will appear on your desktop. Click on this icon and install a software following instrucitions on your screen.
Please, make sure you read License Agreement
After installation is finished, you will see two new icons on your desktop:
SSH Secure Shell Client and SSH Secure File Transfer Client
Start SSH Secure Shell Client, click Quck Connect, enter
lee.cs.miami.edu as a host name, enter your account name in the Linux lab and click Connect. Enter your password in the Linux Lab in the popped up Password window
You will see a little window, "Add Profile", appeared on your screen, type in Linux Lab in it to remember settings for your next login. Next time, you will only need to click on Profiles and then Linux Lab to be able to login.


Please use ssh client application which comes with your distribution
