Calculators I have loved

• My first calculator, HP-21. Love at first sight, really.
  Bought: High or Junior High, in Morristown, NJ.
  Retirement: Used it throughout MIT. The rechargable batteries wore out.
• My second calculator, HP-15C. Try to get one today. $200 on ebay.
  Bought: NY NY (probably 47-st photo), while at Medical Labs Automation.
  Retirement: eventually lost it in Miami. It survived a throwing across the classroom.
• My current companion, HP-12C. A thing of beauty.
  Bought: Office Max on Bird, Miami. It was a return. I could almost hear the first owner: "Where's the equals?!"
